Rho Alpha Zeta Chapter History

The Rho Alpha Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on September 21, 1997 by 20 strong-willed Zetas who felt the need for a chapter in Hermitage, Tennessee which is outside of Nashville, Tennessee. For two years, the sorors envisioned more representation in the Greater Middle Tennessee area. Though the hardwork of several sorors, Rho Alpha Zeta was born. Since that time, the chapter has sponsored an Annual Coat Drive for needy children which has been a great success, a Sisterhood Luncheon for inactive sorors in hopes to reclaim them, and helped sponsor the sorors at Vanderbilt University in chartering their chapter.
